In this joint statement, addressed to international treade union “umbrella” organizations, the Council of Trade Unions of Baltic states (the Lithuanian Trade Union Confederation, the Lithuanian Trade Union „Solidarumas“, the Free Trade Union Confederation of Latvia and the Estonian Trade Union Confederation) expresses full solidarity with Ukraine and its workers.

Also, the Baltic trade union confederations condemn the statement issued by Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia (rus. Федерация Независимы Профсоюзов России) that supported the war in Ukraine initiated by the Russian authorities.

Finally, we call everybody to donate to various organizations that are helping the people of Ukraine and contribute in all other ways possible.
