The 11th May brought many surprises to the Lithuanian Trade Union Confederation. During the 6th Congress of LPSK, Inga Ruginiene was elected as the new chairwoman of the Lithuanian Trade Union Confederation. She got 77 votes and Artūras Černiauskas got 75 votes of the delegates.

As a general secretary was re-elected Janina Matuiziene.

Their term of office is four years.
