We sincerely congratulate former President of the Lithuanian Trade Union Confederation (LPSK), Ms. Inga Ruginienė, who today was approved by the Seimas as the new Prime Minister!

On behalf of the trade union community, we wish I. Ruginienė great strength and success as she takes on this immense responsibility.

We believe that the Government under her leadership will pursue goals related to fostering social justice, protecting the rights of workers and other vulnerable groups, and reducing inequality.

For workers and their representatives, it is of great importance that social dialogue and a culture of agreements take their rightful place in the country’s development path – as this is the best way to find fair solutions that ensure decent conditions for employees and build a stronger society, more resilient to various crises.

We hope that our joint efforts will help make Lithuania a fairer, safer, and more open country for every person.
