The Lithuanian Trade Union Confederation (LPSK) on 9 June organized a video conference “Lockdown. Who will pay bills?”.
The first part was called “Is this crisis different?”. Its panelists (in order of speaking): Minister of Social Security and Labour Linas Kukuraitis, Chairperson of LPSK Inga Ruginienė, Parliament member Tomas Tomilinas, economist and candidate in the coming Parliament elections (the Social Democratic Party) Vaidas Navickas, Parliament member Monika Navickienė. Its moderator – journalist Aurimas Perednis.
The second part called “(Mist)trust in labor relations”. Its interlocutors: sociologist, analyst of the public institution “Enterprise Lithuania” Marius Kalanta, CEO, Chairman of the Board at Ignitis Group Darius Maikštėnas, Interim Leader of the Lithuanian Industry Trade Union Federation Dalia Jakutavičė, Managing Director at the Association of Lithuanian Trade Enterprises Ruta Vainienė, Chairperson of the Lithuanian Trade Union of Food Producers Gražina Gruzdienė. Its moderator – Chairperson of the Lithuanian Union of Journalists Dainius Radzevičius
The third part called “How shall we continue to defend our interests?”. Its interlocutors: Chairperson of the Achema Worker s’ Union Birutė Daškevičienė, Deputy Chairperson of the Lithuanian Trade Union of Food Producers Raimondas Tamošauskas, Chairperson of the May 1st Labor Union Jurgis Valiukevičius. Its moderator-facilitator Rytis Juozapavičius.
